The statutory core tasks of the Olpe district police authority are in the areas of emergency response and law enforcement. All employees of the four directorates (emergency response, crime, traffic and central tasks) as well as the management staff carry out their tasks together with great commitment, close to the citizens and quickly. The outstanding crime clearance rate in the Olpe district over the years is also due to the fact that attentive citizens quickly informed the police. Many incidents of damage were also prevented because the police received helpful information about dangerous areas.
Of course, it is inevitable that the police will have to impose sanctions on citizens if they discover misconduct. However, their primary goal remains to always be a "friend and helper" to the population of the Olpe district and to prevent criminal offenses and traffic accidents. The employees of the Olpe district police authority will continue to focus on this in the future. Because the police want you to live safely and feel safe.
